BIOGRAPHY
Liisa Salosaari Jasinski is a Finnish-born and educated artist who has lived in the U.S. since the 1970’s. She has a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Helsinki, Finland. After making a career change from psychology to visual art, she has taken courses in weaving, pottery, and printmaking. She is self-taught. Her paintings, mixed media work, and monotypes have been exhibited across the U.S. in galleries, art museums, and art centers. Her work is included in many public and private collections, and she is a recipient of three grants. She lives and works in New York City.
